Mikasa's 16th Birthday is on The Dirty Disher today! Check it out!!!

raining...just had sharp lightening and thunder...will drive thru kent in a bit anyway, cuz i'm hardcore like that....i appears, according to radar, that there'll be a few hours lull between storms....between perhaps 2/3--to 4/5 pm....that's my target time then!!!

have to go to a store today anyway...maybe giant eagle has started carrying wolfgang puck pizzas?? will find out....

then general sunday housekeeping chores....

rather chilly today....blah day....dreary...bah and blah!

She looks great for 16! She looks like she's in good health.

Two of mine lived to be 19 but both became quite ill in their last year.

she has the beginning of kidney failure....i could take in another urine sample and they could see how slow/quick it's progressing but i just don't have the heart to do that...she's still eating 3-4 little cans of food a day and is acting FINE....even if it's progressing quick, there's really nothing they could do anyway... :(

oh, i've been busy all weekend...i'll reply here....chrissie hynde's place is called vegiterrian---i am sure i'm spelling that wrong....

Yeah that's what mine both suffered from. It seems to be quite a common problem in older cats doesn't it?

yeah it does...as my vet says, kidney failure will be what older cats die of, if something else doesn't do them in first... :(

Happy birthday to Mikasa!
Good luck avoiding the storms -- last time I saw rain was in Wash D.C. at the beginning of April. I can't remember the last time it rained here.

it's very cold & dreary here today, again....

should we import some rain to phoenix?? if it's been so long since it rained people would probably panic when they saw it huh? i can envision a huge crush of people racing into home depot to buy umbrellas!
