08:04 pm - Mo-man scare and considerate shopping PSA.....

the muffyne man gave me quite a scare last night....he was fine saturday....he was off schedule still due to wednesday's whacked out long trip and he did indeed go up for a 2nd can at bedtime and ate some....sunday morning he didn't really get up from where he was to follow me when i let the dogs out....i had to carry him upstairs and he took like two licks....

in the afternoon he was zonked out....but i still woke him up and brought him up for his afternoon can....again, just a couple licks....at bedtime, same thing and he looked miserable....he was wheezing also....he went downstairs and went back to his spot and just plopped himself down and looked miserable....i told him not to give up, i'd get him to the vet ASAP today and i went over the usual evening sayings of how he's always been my good boy, mama loves her mo-man, and loved him up a lot...mediusse was next to him....mediusse is a very good friend to him....

got up early today to start trying to reach the a little after 7 (depending how busy they are with check ins they might not turn the phones on right away)....when i leave my bedroom i go into the computer room first to turn on computer and grab hot pot for hot water for coffee....i leave computer room and mo-man had come upstairs!!!!!!!! oh that was a good sign!! but he only took a couple licks of his breakfast....


got thru on the first time at 7:05am and since he had shown motivation and an interest in food, i didn't deem it URGENT and took the 11:40 appt....he acted like he wanted food, but he wouldn't eat it....then he was very confused downstairs ---that would be the senility---and i stood on the stairs watching to see what he was gonna do (he was sort of standing in the middle of the living room) and mediusse walked over to him and sort of guided him to their spot!!!!! don't tell me animals aren't smart!!!!

it was like zero out this morning...i had to get some gas in the van before i drove to kent and get the van warm so i went up bj's and put in $15 worth.....came home and got muffyne and off we went....soooooo anxious waiting for the dr. because with his age (17 1/2) well i mean, any illness could be the last one....

dr. examines him, he had no fever....bad upper respiratory infection....he's got arteriosclerosis of his airwaves and that makes it worse, but the dr. is confident he'll recover and it's not his time yet!!! WHEW!!!!!!!!!!! he's on antibiotics and the dr. told me to get some deli meat to try to entice him to eat....said i should see an improvement by thursday....HUGE sigh of relief!!!!!!!!!!!

so i get home, let him out of the carrier and go straight back out to go to bj's....grab a thing of the organic bread --figuring if i'm getting deli meat might as well get enough to make some sandwiches for myself...then i go to the deli counter....there was only deli employee working....and there was only one customer ahead of me....

i looked at my phone....i stood there 15 minutes while this woman got a 1# of this kind of meat, a 1# of that kind, a 1# of that, a 1# of that, a 1# of that one....on and on and on and on and on and on and on it went....i mean, just 1#....after 15 minutes she turns to me and i believe she was trying to be nice "you can go ahead and do your other shopping as i'm gonna be here awhile" "my only other shopping is ONE ITEM from here" "oh, well i guess you'll have to wait then"....i just stared daggers....i mean, at that point, couldn't she have let me get my ONE ITEM????????????? i stood there another 10 minutes....the deli worker looked annoyed too....and she wanted each item cut/slice/chopped different too...fucking BIZARRE...and rude if you ask me....

so i asked for 3/4# of honey turkey....yeah odd amount, but 1/2 isn't enough and 1# is too much....yes i know the dogs and kitties would eat it but i'm really broke.....then i go to the check out---and i kept thinking that i should already be HOME by now.....i check out at the self check out and i go to pick up the deli meat and i see it's honey ham...FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!! i had to go to the front desk and i told the lady there i did NOT blame the deli worker for the mistake because of the person they had just dealt with and they asked 'why would someone get so many different meats in 1# amounts?' and i said i have no idea but it was pretty fucked up when she said she was gonna be awhile and i should go do other shopping and i said i only needed one deli item and i'd be done and then she said i'd have to wait! she agreed....anyway, they sent someone to the back to the get the right deli meat and i reiterated i didn't blame the deli person at all after that person.....

what the fuck???????????? eddie called me on his way to work----i had TRIED to call him to tell him about muffyne but his cell phone was off....when he finally realized this he called me...i told him about this idiot and he couldn't figure it out either....he asked if i had just sat on the floor and i told him i was about ready too.....standing makes my back hurts.....we were discussing that maybe if she had gotten like 5#s of the basic type meats we could assume she was making sandwiches for an event but a 1# of this and a 1# of that???? she seriously got over 20 types of meat when i was standing there and who knows how long she was there BEFORE i got there!!! and it's not like it would last a month or so, ya know???? fucking weird.....and rude....

if i had seen her at the checkouts i think i just would have given her the finger.....yes juvenile.....i don't care....i don't claim to be a bastion of adult actions.....

saw a new dog running lose in the neighborhood today.....i have no clue who's it is either.....and no, let me make it clear, it's not the assholes....they actually really take good care of their dogs (fair is fair and the truth is the truth).....

and i also saw the a recycle bin from across the street has disappeared....i'm calling the city tomorrow to see if they picked it up....if not, i'm gonna hunt it down and report it....seriously.....they all have #s on them and are assigned to houses....no one can claim someone gave it to them either!!! if someone took it and is reading this, PUT IT BACK!!!!!!!!!! i've said i am defending that property and i mean it!!!

did a bit of cross stitching this afternoon.....i sent out a progress pix today to a couple people but i need to resend after what i finished today.....i'm sort of excited....unfortunately i can't share this yet....

alright...i'm tired and it's only 8pm....ugh....didn't sleep well last night as i was so worried about mo-man....think i'll read the samsung galaxy instruction booklet online....still figuring that out...found a program to transfer music easier than the one i was shown....think i mentioned that already....need to move more music over, but for now i have enough on there....

oh yeah, saw eddie when he brought his trash over yesterday and he said since i have a sewing machine i could fix his jacket!!!! i gave him the finger......i don't even have THREAD for it!!!!!!! let alone know how to use it yet!!! then yes i did show him the tablet because i knew once i told him the retail price that would deter him!!! and i was right about that!!! he liked the flash light app i downloaded because it has different options and one of them is a text screen and i already have FUCK YOU programmed into it....i told him if i EVER get the case from amazon for it and we go somewhere, if we encounter an asshole driver instead of just giving them the finger i can hold that up showing 'FUCK YOU'....he really liked that!!!!

the case still hasn't even SHIPPED from amazon....they managed to send me 3 emails telling me if i still had amazon prime i'd have my items by now.....well fuck you amazon!!! i got $25 worth of stuff, send me my stuff dicks!!!! grrrrr.....

yes, somewhat tired, so my usual sunshiny personality isn't available....HAH!
